[131206] Morelli - fregula tostata 500 g
Morelli Fregula Tostata 500 g is a traditional toasted pasta with a characteristic texture and added flavour from the toasting process. The pasta is worked by hand and then slowly dried for 36 hours at a temperature of 45–50 °C.
With a cooking time of approximately 12 minutes, fregula is a versatile ingredient. This pasta works well in seafood soups with cockles or mussels, but can also be prepared as an alternative to risotto. Fregula is also delicious in cold dishes, for example with vegetables, fish or Mediterranean ingredients. A versatile Italian speciality suitable for many preparations.
