Budels
Budels Brewery has stood for character, quality and craftsmanship since 1870. From Budel in Brabant, this independent family brewery makes a broad range of beers, from refreshing pilsner to distinctive speciality ales, with a strong focus on sustainability and organic ingredients. Budels combines traditional brewing expertise with a modern approach to flavour and responsibility.
Meet the Arts family
At Budels, brewing has been about more than just beer for over 150 years. It all began in 1870, when Gerardus Arts founded a brewery in Budel with one clear ambition: to brew an honest, flavourful beer for the people of his village. That idea never faded; it has grown stronger with each generation.
Today, the fourth generation of the Arts family is at the helm. Still based in Budel, still driven by the same dedication, and now offering more than 20 beers, from classic lager to organic IPAs and refreshing alcohol-free varieties. Every bottle tells a story of craftsmanship, sustainability and straightforward Brabant values.
What makes Budels special? It is one of the few breweries that has remained family-run and independent for so long. This gives it the freedom to choose quality, local ingredients and climate-friendly production methods without compromising on taste.
