Canisius Hensen

Since the first tins of syrup were produced in 1903, more than a century ago, making syrup has become a true cultural tradition, deeply rooted in the Burgundian spirit of Limburg. This rich rural heritage owes much to fruit merchant Jean Canisius. Thanks in part to him, the Canisius syrup factory now produces more than three million kilograms of delicious syrup each year. In tins, cups, buckets and glass jars, the products leave the idyllic hills of southern Limburg for specialist shops. Years of experience have refined the craft to perfection, bringing the best quality to your table.
