Dolcital
Dolcital nougat recipes date back to 1924 and have been passed down through generations. The secret is a long cooking process: the nougat is heated for over six hours in special copper kettles called 'Torroniere'. Roasted almonds are then added.
Once the dough is ready, the nougat is placed in a wooden frame to cool before it is cut. Most of the production is still done by hand, making every piece of nougat different and unique. Dolcital also selects only gluten-free ingredients, natural flavourings and colours derived from fruit and vegetables to guarantee the best quality.
Dolcital produces special Cristalli nougat and soft nougat. Cristalli is an innovative type of nougat cut into thin slices that are both crumbly and soft. Its unique form makes it easy to eat anywhere without sticky hands! For its soft nougat, Dolcital selects only the finest almonds and honey.
